to the Promise Land
After wathing "Extraodinary Measures (愛的代價)", I realize, sometimes God will put us in a desperate situation to motivate us to walk out of our "Egypt"(our comfort zone), toward the "Promise land".
But before we arrive the promise land, there will be a desert that we need to walk across. No one knows how long God will let us wander in the desert to get rid of all the "old me" and ready to receive the blessings He's promised to give us in the Promis Land. But one thing for sure is, we can't step into the "Promise Land" with the old me (old thinking, limited thoughts,etc.). If we are in the new place with the old me, we can't enjoy in the blessings God brings to us.
Our Father wants us to enjoy all the blessings, all the abundance He has prepared for us long ago. But one thing He needs us to do in order to complete His plan for each one of us is we need to take the initiative -- walk out of our "Egypt", our comfort zone, and start acrossing the desert by faith. Unless we let our "faith" in the Lord take place, the Promise Land will never come~
While wandering in the desert, surely there will be obstacles, attacks, vicious enemies waiting, hiding along the road to pull us down, stop us, and call us back. There may be times we doubt our decisions, miss the old days, and even turn ourselves around and head back! When moments like this coming, we need to remind ourselves with all the goodness and faithfulness our Father is, the Land He's promised to bring us to, must be extraodinarily GREAT than anything we can ask for.
It's the time , we need to stop whining, stop complaining, stop looking back. Look forward, Look beyond the desert to the beauty of the Promise Land. "Faith" will bring us to the victory, which is the Promise Land.

讀一本好書, 得到許多慰藉.彷彿與最棒的心理諮商師深談了一般.很多的問題,似乎都找到了出口.
感謝主,讓我有閱讀的能力.
透過閱讀,跨越時空的限制,與古今中外的哲人交談.跳脫自我的框架,擴大狹隘的自我界線.發現神所創造的無限與美好.
人生不見得從此一帆風順.也不需要無風無浪.但是,心開闊了,視野廣了,人生也美好了.

懷念五舅
這是媽媽的心聲.爸爸代筆完成.
或許是夫妻感情太好,"她要說的,他都知道."
或許這也是他們倆的共同心聲.
或許寫這封信對媽媽來說太沉重,所以她總推說自己文筆不好.因為,可能字未寫完,淚已兩行.
無論誰寫的,誰的心意的.
我想,五舅一定會以他一派優雅紳士的笑容,輕輕柔柔的說,"你們說的,我都知道.我過得很好,你們放心."
風吹來,好舒服. 就像五舅對我們的關心與愛一樣.
看不到,摸不著,可是卻感受得到~
五舅,以後每當微風吹過,我會閉著眼,用心感受,微笑著.
因為,你的愛與關懷不曾離開~~

令人感動的影片
英國有一個選秀節目"Britains Got Talent".我想台灣的星光大道應該是inspired by this program吧! 台灣的節目,總是focus在年紀和外貌上.不夠年輕,外貌不夠出色,無法帶動收視率.這樣的參賽者,基本上是不被歡迎的,雖然節目規則有時沒有明說.但總有方法讓你知難而退.
英國的這個節目每過一陣子總是會有令人動容又感動的故事出現.去年還是前年是手機銷售員帶給大家的驚喜與省思.今年,是在初賽完全不被大家看好的47歲的Susan Boyle給大家上了寶貴的一課.

看了一部好電影
晚上在學校看了這部片.記得之前就看過這部奇怪的片名的影片廣告.當時就有點好奇,可一直沒機會看.今天學校心輔組放映這部片,看了之後,感觸很多.
每個人的生命中都會在不同的階段遇見他的"蘇格拉底".也有機會成為別人生命裏的"蘇格拉底".而我,也期盼我曾在某個人的生命歷程中,做過他在深夜裏的加油站所預見的蘇格拉底.讓神透過我去改變某個人的生命.
觀賞片子時,心中常思想著,或許再早個兩三年前來看這個故事,甚至在一年前,我的感觸與感動應該就不會這麼深.有些事,真的需要時間與生命的歷練,才能真的領悟.看看在場坐在我前面很多排的學生,I wonder,他們對於這些經過生命焠鍊出的人生哲理,有多少領悟?!年輕的生命,正是在蓄勢待發,等待展翅高飛的時候,不懂,應是正常的吧!如果能有一絲的懂得,對於他們的人生,該是個祝福吧!
